Collaborating closely with the internal communications team and the executive, our strategy aimed to expand beyond the core base of Green supporters and engage disillusioned Labour voters, using the campaign slogan "Time To Turn Green." We designed visuals and messaging that juxtaposed the traditional colors of red and green—red symbolizing danger and warnings, and green representing growth and renewal. This clever visual approach aimed to guide voters toward the Greens by tapping into their perceptions. Despite not winning seats, the Greens achieved a significant leap in support, increasing their vote share from 1% to 4.7%, with a massive rise in voter turnout in key areas like Cardiff. The campaign successfully secured second place in Cardiff South and saw a substantial increase in support in Cardiff East. As a result, this campaign was the most successful in the party’s history, and we look forward to continuing our work with them as we prepare for the 2026 Senedd elections.
